German parliamentary delegation visits Serbia

Serbian Prime Minister and President-elect Aleksandar Vucic has met with a delegation of the German parliament. They discussed "Serbia's European path, the situation in the region and the significance of bilateral relations with Germany and stability in the Western Balkans," Tanjug reported. The delegation, headed by Hans-Peter Friedrich and Florian Hahn, has also been received by Serbian Defense Minister Zoran Djordjevic. "Serbia wants to be a factor of stability in the region and a partner contributing to European security. Our orientation is to be militarily neutral, and our strategic decision is to join the European Union," Djordjevic said, according to the Defense Ministry. @b92
